There are just two main reasons that we, and our predecessors, have been doing this year after year.
Johnstone Phoenix Theatre Group is a not-for-profit organisation, and we rely on the audience, sponsors and donations to produce the quality of shows that you are used to. It costs in excess of £20,000.00 to stage each show, and our annual rent, light and insurance costs rise each year!
We are always on the lookout for superhumans, who can help us continue our work.
We are always short of storage and working space to make and store scenery and equipment. Does anyone have a spare storage container? We have somewhere to put it, and can make good use of it!
If you spend some of your marketing budget on us, you get much more than just advertising space!
Start a great night out with your colleagues by organising a group booking at work!
Much of our equipment is past its prime, and we would like to replace some items which are costly to hire. We really appreciate every donation.
